
Terms & Conditions
1. OFFER AND VALIDITY
1.1 A treatment plan or quotation is valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated.
1.2 All treatment plans or quotations are non-binding and may be amended or withdrawn without prior notice until an agreement has been formally concluded.
2. PRICES AND PAYMENTS
2.1 All prices stated in the quotation include VAT and any applicable taxes.
2.2 The treatment plan becomes final only upon receipt of the advance payment.
2.3 The total amount must be paid no later than 14 days before the start of the treatment.
2.4 In case of cancellation, the advance payment is non-refundable.
3. SERVICES
3.1 Meditris does not perform medical treatments itself and is not responsible for the outcome of the treatment. Meditris provides assistance throughout the journey and monitors the compliance with guarantees provided by the clinics to the patient.
3.2 Meditris does not guarantee the results of any medical treatments and accepts no liability for medical complications, errors, or negligence on the part of medical service providers.
3.3 Changes to booked treatments requested by the patient may result in additional costs, which will be charged to the patient.
4. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PATIENT
4.1 The patient is required to provide complete and accurate medical information necessary for the execution of the treatment.
4.2 The patient is responsible for arranging flight bookings, unless explicitly organised by Meditris and agreed upon in advance.
4.3 The patient is advised to take out adequate travel and medical insurance.
4.4 The patient must provide full, accurate, and up-to-date medical information needed for the planning and delivery of services.
4.5 The patient is responsible for obtaining and carrying valid travel documents, including passports, visas, and vaccination certificates.
4.6 The patient must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the destinations visited, including but not limited to customs and health regulations.
4.7 The patient must inform Meditris in a timely manner of any changes in personal circumstances that may affect the services provided (e.g., changes in health condition, contact details).
4.8 The patient must be ready at the agreed time and location for scheduled pickups.
5. LIABILITY
5.1 Meditris is not liable for damages resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the patient.
5.2 Meditris is not liable for damages caused by third parties or circumstances beyond its control, such as natural disasters or political unrest.
5.3 Meditris is not responsible for the outcomes of medical treatments and accepts no liability for medical complications.
5.4 Meditris is not responsible for the quality of the treatments provided.
6. DISPUTES
6.1 This agreement is governed by Belgian law.
6.2 All disputes shall be submitted exclusively to the competent court in Antwerp, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6.3 Parties shall first attempt to resolve disputes through mediation or arbitration before resorting to legal proceedings.
7. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
7.1 Meditris processes personal and medical data in accordance with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
7.2 Data is only shared with third parties where necessary for the provision of services and with the patient's consent.
7.3 The patient has the right to access, correct, or delete their personal data as described in Meditris’ privacy policy.
8. FORCE MAJEURE
8.1 Meditris is not liable for failures or delays caused by force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, pandemics, or other unforeseen events.
8.2 In the event of force majeure, Meditris reserves the right to suspend or terminate the agreement without being liable for compensation.
9. MISCELLANEOUS
9.1 Meditris reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. Any changes will be communicated in writing and shall take effect 30 days after notification, unless otherwise stated.
9.2 If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain fully in effect. In such cases, a substitute provision shall be established that closely reflects the original intent.
9.3 Meditris is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings during travel or stay.
9.4 Meditris is not liable for acts, omissions, or errors of third parties, including but not limited to airlines, hotels, medical institutions, or other service providers.
9.5 Meditris is not responsible for inaccuracies or incomplete travel or accommodation information provided by third parties.
